Please tell us a little about your company.
Basile GmbH was founded in 1993 as a service company for work-holding technology. We developed our clamping machinery within a few years and filed a patent. Meanwhile, we developed our own clamping devices
Who are your typical customers?
Our typical customers are end users with special applications, but we also deal with OEMs – for example INDEX
For how long have you been an Atling distributor?
We have known each other for more than 25 years. Since 2017 we have tried to introduce Atling as a steady rest manufacturer company in South Germany and in 2022 we became the official distributor for South Germany.
What are Atling’s main benefits?
The reaction time of the technical employees is great. Also, they are always imaginative and very friendly.
What, in your opinion, is most important when choosing a steady rest?
There are many important things. One of them is the size of the body compared to the clamping range. With an Atling steady rest, you get this benefit as Atling’s steady rests are some of the smallest compared to the huge clamping range they still possess.
