Please tell us a little about your company.
Spantech Opspansystemen BV is a Dutch company specializing in workholding equipment for the “machining” industry. Our market is the Benelux area: Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxemburg. For turning, we provide all workholding equipment on the Z-Axis, like (going left to right) hydraulic cylinders, chucks, chuck jaws, steady rests, and live centers.
For how long have you been an Atling distributor?
We started collaborating with Atling Steady Rest in 2012 and have since 2015 beenthe official Atling distributor for the Benelux.
What, in your opinion, are Atling’s main benefits?
With the Atling Steady Rest, we found that we can make a difference for our customers in the steady rest market. Not only are their steady rests of famous Swedish Premium Quality, Atling Steady Rest is also open to new innovations and special market demands. The best example of this is that on our initiative, we developed the combination of a steady rest on a Zero-Point-Clamping System together with Atling. This is where the OEM and her distributor create 1+1=3, resulting in huge benefits for the end-users.
